Our Story

Taking ROot

Planted in Oshawa in 1978, Abundant Life Gospel Centre (formerly Erie Street Gospel Centre) took root in a changing-of-the-keys of pastoral leadership of: Bishop Caston Johnson, Bishop Headley Raymond, and the late Bishop Newton Cole. The keys have since been passed into the hands of Pastor Kevin M. A. Cole from 2009 to present.

Experiencing Growth

As a result of God's approval of Abundant Life Gospel Centre and His work through the body, we has been honored with initiating and seeing-through outreach events such as: YJ2K Youth Outdoor Community Concerts; Heart2Heart in the Park, Food Pantry Ministry; Black History Breakfast, Paraguay Missions trips and Compassions Ministry with God's guidance and direction every step of the way.

receiving nourishment

With God scouting our worship ministry, He has assembled gifted and talented worshippers. In the past, our djembe drumming group, Heart Beat of Praise, our acapella choir J-Oshawa Praise, had been a few of the fruits God had blessed within this ministry. At present, He has blessed us with our lively worship team of musicians, singers and instruments.
